The Color Card is a premium toolkit for needlepoint stitchers that helps make thread decisions feel simpler, faster, and more confidence-building through tools like thread color conversion and coverage estimation.

Who are The Color Card's tools built for?

Everyone! Regardless of if you're a new stitcher or experienced veteran - our tools were designed to be helpful to everyone.

Why do I need an acount?

Creating an account helps personalize your experience and gives you continued access to The Color Card tools as new features are introduced.

Can I try the tools without a membership?

Yes! Sign up for a free account and you will get 10 pooled tool uses per month.

What happens after I use up my free tool uses?

After you run out of your 10 pooled monthly uses, you will be prompted to upgrade your account to continue using the tools.

Is Founding Member Access a subscription?

No - Founding Member Access is a limited time one-time purchase that includes unlimited access to the Thread Color Converter & Thread Coverage Estimator tools while they are being built upon and maintained in their v1 forms.

How long will the tools included in the Founding Member Access be in their v1 form?

The Color Card v1 will continue evolving and improving over time, but Founding Member Access includes unlimited access to the v1 tools and future v1 improvements. As new tools and larger platform updates are introduced, we’ll communicate clearly about what’s included and what’s new.

Can I use The Color Card's tools on mobile?

Yes. The Color Card is designed to work across desktop, tablet and mobile so you can use it wherever you stitch.

Will new tools be added?

Yes. Founding Members will be the first to hear about new tools and future improvements to The Color Card.

How accurate are the thread color matches?

Thread conversions are designed to provide thoughtful, confidence-building recommendations based on available conversion data. When available, you’ll see a recommended match plus alternate options.

Why are the tools paywalled? Why not free?

Transparently - hosting, maintaining and continuing to improve these tools is expensive. Paid access helps support the hosting & maintenance, continued improvements and unlimited tool use. We want The Color Card to feel genuinely useful before asking anyone to pay. That’s why you can try the tools first for free, and then while we are continuing to improve and build upon our tools, we're offering a limited time Founding Member Pricing that enables full, unlimited access.
